Good morning everyone!
Wow – the term is flying and we have been so busy! AFL clinics, the Book Week parade and incursion, the playground excursion and the Constitutional Centre incursion have all kept us on our toes.
But wait – there’s more! Just to keep everyone in the loop, here are some highlights of what’s still to come.
Father’s Day Mass – 9am Friday 1st September
Athletics Carnival – Friday 8th September
Year 5 Excursion – Monday 18th September (more details below)
Dancing Concert – Tuesday 19th September
Mercy Mission Day – Wednesday 20th September
Last day of term for students – Thursday 21st September
YEAR 5 EXCURSION
Early next week a note will come home giving full details of the Year 5 excursion on Monday 18th September. We are very excited to announce that we are officially going to be the first class to participate in the Constable Care Child Safety House programme. Just to give everyone a heads up, the programme will include students riding bicycles around the safety facility. All bicycles and helmets will be provided, but if it has been a while since your child hopped on a bike, it might be a good time to have a little refresher ride. The day will also feature lunch at McDonald’s and a trip to the Bayswater Shire, where we will have a tour and participate in a mock meeting.
As mentioned, all details will be fully outlined in the letter that will come home next week.
So, update your calendar and we look forward to seeing you all at these exciting events!
Best wishes,
Leesa Vinciullo and Clare Wright
